What we've done to help Charities across Jersey

Working with individuals and referrals from partner organisations; to provide therapeutic printmaking sessions in a group or one to one setting, we offer a uniquely enjoyable and therapeutic experience by facilitating printmaking processes in a supportive environment within a heritage setting.

Participants will learn new skills; empowering them to produce work of their own with no prior experience necessary. Making decisions about colour and composition whilst editing or layering the results to produce something unique to their experience, allows for human agency and ownership throughout.

Participants are encouraged to use their own subject matter or engage directly with the natural surroundings at Greve De Lecq for a more mindful activity which is always focused on process rather than results.

Since 2022, we have partnered with Older Adult Mental Health, Acorn, Eyecan,

Passerelle/La Sente School, HMP La Moye Prison, Community Navigators, JAYF and others to provide workshops at our studios and off-site supported by the Jersey Community Foundation and Connect Me.

Our community projects see us deliver workshops and one-on-ones to people with a range of needs to improve their overall wellbeing through engagement with the activities associated with printmaking.

If you would like to find out more about how these sessions could help you please get in touch.

We've made a note
of these...

"SO much fun! I became a Luddite member after my workshop and now use the studio every week to make my own drypoint etchings"
Lucy
"It was a good chance to get hands-on and a little messy. I made something I will cherish forever (hang in the downstairs loo)"
Patrick
"I had no idea what to expect but was supported through every step of the process and left with several prints I am very happy with. The class gave me an appreciation for what goes into making a print"
