FAQs

Find answers to common questions about our workshops and classes.

Are your workshops suitable for children?

Our drop-in workshops are suitable for all ages. Full day workshops are suitable for ages 16 and over. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult.

What should I wear?

Printmaking can be a messy activity. As careful as you might be, ink has a way of getting itself on you one way or another. With this in mind it is not advised to wear your best white Gucci jumpsuit. You should wear clothes you don't mind getting inked. We can provide an apron and disposable gloves.

Is lunch provided at full-day workshops?

Please bring your own sarnies. Lunch is not provided but there are several cafe and pub options in Greve de Lecq. We generally break for 30-60 minutes half way through a day workshop.

What materials are provided?

All materials are provided. If you wish to bring reference images for your prints please do.

Do I need any printmaking experience to attend a workshop?

No. There are various printmaking techniques that are covered in our program of workshops which range from beginner to advanced.

We've made a note
of these...

"SO much fun! I became a Luddite member after my workshop and now use the studio every week to make my own drypoint etchings"
Lucy
"It was a good chance to get hands-on and a little messy. I made something I will cherish forever (hang in the downstairs loo)"
Patrick
"I had no idea what to expect but was supported through every step of the process and left with several prints I am very happy with. The class gave me an appreciation for what goes into making a print"
